A Note About yoga Mamas' Cancellation Policies
The ancient ritual of women gathering together offers us the time and space to tune into our deep and wise Self, and connect with others and feel supported. You will leave feeling a renewed sense of self connection with the deep wisdom within you. It takes a Village Held monthly, these circles create a space for you to connect, share and be part of a tribe of supportive women. Motherhood can be lonely. I am passionate about bringing the village back to pregnant and postnatal women. So if you feel a gentle nudge that you would benefit from joining us please do. When are the Calm Mamma Circles held? There are limited spaces available in each circle so bookings are essential. Please note Workshop dates booked are non-transferable.
Move The Body, Still The Mind
Congratulations on welcoming your little one into the world! You did it! Now it is time to nurture yourself and create time for you and Baby. It is a great opportunity to ease your way back into movement and connection to your body after the birth of your baby. The classes are designed to help you connect to Baby, reconnect to yourself, and slowly find your way into stretching and strengthening your body. As a note — the class is focused on healing on all levels — emotional, mental, and physical — but will not be about losing weight or straining the body. The classes include gentle yoga and massage for Baby so you can practice together, and also time just for you to practice and move with Baby close to you. The class focuses on stretching and strengthening postures, breathing and mediation techniques designed for postpartum women.
Mom-and-baby yoga classes are popular with the newborn set. These classes are usually geared to accommodate babies aged six weeks to crawling. In most mom-and-baby yoga classes, moms place a yoga blanket, usually covered with a blanket from home in case of spit-up or other spills, at the top of their yoga mat.
